Chateau Roudier is a 3.7 hectare estate based in the Saint-Emilion satellite appellation of Montagne – one of four which surround the principle zone.

Vineyards have proximity to the greats - adjoining La Fleur and only 100m from Petrus.

35 year old vines of 65% Merlot with 25% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon make up the planting ratios of the chateau. Since 2015 there has been a consistent move towards organic viticulture.

Wine is aged in one third new oak for 12 months. On the nose a ripe and luscious blackberry and plum fruit profile. A soft palette follows of generous ripe plum, roasted fig, bell pepper and spice. An accessible, forward style. Drink now.

Pair with barbecue, grilled lamb chops, hard cheeses.
