Bachelet-Monnot is one of our favourite Burgundy producers here at the Salusbury Winestore, and it’s easy to see – or taste – why. On the nose, expect sweet, ripe strawberry and cranberry and a pallet that keeps this sweetness in check, balancing fruits with savoury stalk and cut-grass notes. Some grip from the fine tannin, and a finish lifted by freshness. Very drinkable already, but will age throughout the 2020s.
