The world of wine is so big and varied that really nothing should really surprise us any more. But Kiwi Albarino? And it's good? Amazing actually. Lovely rich peachy, apricot fruit balanced by herby minerality and vibrant freshness.
Hailing from the same region as Chianti, this Sangiovese displays pure dark fruits and has an earthy, savoury nature. An excellent example of the grape variety.
We found this at a tasting for unrepresented French producers and couldn't believe our luck. It is value Cotes du Rhone at its finest. The red fruit is bright and clear, backed up by real stony minerality, vibrant and incredibly fresh.
Whether you are looking for something from a particular country, region or grape variety, we will undoubtably have a wine or two here which will satisfy your desires. If you don't have anything specific in mind, just come in and ask - we are always delighted to help and advise. We endeavour to fill our shelves with high quality, great value wines which offer diversity and character in abundance. The wines that we stock are the wines that we enjoy drinking ourselves, what better recommendation is there??
